1 Peter 4:12-19 // Suffering as a Christian

Opposition for the sake of Christ is overwhelming, but it will not break us. According to Peter in this passage, to suffer for God’s sake is to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Peter wants us to arm ourselves with this truth, fleeing from human passions and instead set our sights on the will of God.
